I think this was for a church directory. Must have been a good photographer to get those smiles. John really looks like his son Sam in this one.

I can almost smell the exhaust of the Catalina in the driveway on Sundy morning waiting for passengers.
"Chomping at the bit" is the correct technical terminology for Dad waiting in the car.
